India is to launch a new system for ensuring users have the correct captcha generator on their devices.
In a statement, Prime Minister Modi said that the government is committed to ensuring that users have correct captcha generators on their mobile devices.
The Prime Minister said the Government of India is working towards the implementation of the Aadhaar biometric verification for citizens of the country.
According to the Prime Minister, the new system would be launched in a phased manner in the near future.
The Indian government had announced the new initiative at the start of this year, but no official announcement has been made yet.
India’s Prime Minister has long been a vocal critic of Google’s technology and it’s stance against its new platform.
In September, Google said it would no longer support the new Indian platform due to the government’s blocking of Google Maps in India.
